Western Influence

Designers are looking to the rodeo, with cowboy details that look surprisingly chic.

Spring style is all about leather fringe, bandanas and western stitching. At New York Fashion Week, shows such as Rodarte, Coach and Anna Sui all tipped their hats to the stylish cowboy culture.

To keep the look fresh (and not like you just walked off an old western movie set) stick to one or two western details rather than rocking the whole gambit at once. A great leather jacket with fringe detail will easily update your wardrobe and look great with denim or a long maxi dress.

  • I’m not crazy about fringe, I don’t know why lol But I do like the Western style influence, it’s really stylish! I wonder what made it come into fashion, I noticed it in Little Mix’s music video. So I’m a fan now haha

Thanks for sharing the new trend. I am not into the western theme I mean maybe a bit of fringe and Tassel but the other items, no. It doesn’t seem like every day wear but more like costume it for production.
