The award-winning Hampshire Food Festival will return this July with over 60 food and farming events. Tour vineyards, distilleries and breweries. Pop on the wellies and head for a tractor and trailer ride on the farm. See the lavender fields and cherry orchards. Sip cocktails and tuck into delicious local food at pop-up dining events.
With so many events to choose from across the county between 1-31 July there really is something for everyone. The well-established event is co-ordinated by community interest county food group, Hampshire Fare.
Tracy Nash, commercial manager of Hampshire Fare commented: “July’s Hampshire Food Festival is an opportunity for people to go behind the scenes of the county’s thriving local food culture. See where our ingredients are grown and learn more about what our county is so good at producing. There’s a chance to taste lots of delicious things along the way and meet the people behind the food.”
A full list of events can be explored online at www.hampshirefare.co.uk. Free programmes are also available from farm shops, pubs, restaurants, hotels and Southern Co-operative stores county-wide. The latest festival news will also be on social media, @Hampshirefare.
