The EBP (Education Business Partnership) are starting the search for their team of ‘Champions of Enterprise’ 2017 Winners!
This interschool challenge starts next month where teams of sixth form students from 5 local secondary schools will be tasked to solve real-life business challenges set by local companies; Waitrose Newbury, Gist Ltd and Westcoast Ltd. Presentations will be judged by business volunteers from a wide selection of local and nationwide businesses.
Once a winning team from each school has been selected they will go through to the grand final at the Regency hotel on the 6th December where they will present again to business professionals and find out who our ‘Champions of Enterprise’ 2017 Champions are.
Jane Grunseid, Development Manager at EBP said, “This is a fantastic opportunity, kindly funded by the Greenham Common Trust, where sixth form students can really develop a sense of business understanding, confidence, teamwork and presentation skills, all vital attributes for their next steps into the world of work.
The students are supported by business experts can offer advice and guidance to help the students solve their business challenges. Each year the students showcase remarkable work and ideas, so we are really looking forward to another great competition.”
