House builder calls upon Santa to ensure local children are on his list
The housebuilder behind brand new communities in Hampshire is taking action to ensure its homes are on Santa’s radar this Christmas.
David Wilson Homes, which is bringing new homes to the area at its various developments, has written to Mr Claus to make sure he stops by at the new homes this festive season.
The five-star housebuilder is keen to make sure that Santa is fully aware of the development and that the new community gets a visit.
Rob Allen, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “Having met many of the children who have moved to our new development, we know for a fact they will be on Santa’s ‘nice’ list.
“We would like to reassure them and their parents that rigorous steps have been taken to notify Father Christmas about their new address.”
Santa will travel an estimated 510 million km on Christmas Eve, flying at around 10 million km per hour in order to make the 233 million stops on his list.
His first stop is the Republic of Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean and, according to NORAD, which is running an online Santa tracker, he will make his way west around the world before arriving in the UK.
Rob added: “Santa has a packed schedule on December 24 and we’re pulling out all the stops to make sure our brand new homes are on his map. The developments have taken shape since he last flew over, with lots of new families living there, so Santa and his reindeer will have lots to see.”
Families can help encourage Santa to stop by leaving mince pies and sherry out before they head to bed on Christmas Eve.
David Wilson Homes Southern currently has properties available to reserve at the following developments in the area: Locksbridge Park in Andover and Gillies Meadow and Spiers Meadow in Basingstoke.
Buyers who reserve their dream home before 31st December will also receive free flooring on selected homes across the county.
