With a short while left to recognise a deserving local woman in business for the Santander Thames Valley Venus Awards 2018 in association with Marshall Volkswagen and in partnership with The Breeze, the response is already exceeding all expectations.
The Venus Awards – dubbed by Channel 4 as “The Working Women’s Oscars” – was launched in Thames Valley for its second year at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre at the Madejski Stadium in Reading on November 27th. The Semi-Finalists Announcement will be held on Monday 19th March 2018 and there are now only two weeks left to nominate a local business woman worthy of recognition.
Hundreds of nominations have already been made and the talent, as always, is strong, energised and inspiring.
The Awards celebrate the vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional, and national economy. In the Thames Valley region nominees and applicants are competing in up to 15 categories that include Business Mother of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Green Business and Inspirational Woman, among others.
The Awards are unique in that anyone can nominate a friend, colleague, client or family member.
