Newbury’s Camp Hopson hosted a special fashion evening on Thursday 11 April to showcase their new season.

Guests were treated to canapés, drinks, talks from stylists and special discounts. The event is part of Camp Hopson’s ‘Focus on Fashion’ month and events will continue to take place in-store throughout April.

Andrew, Managing Director of retail at Camp Hopson, said “We have changed our fashion department and we have a lot of new brands so we wanted to get the word out that we have changed. The initial idea was to have a fashion show but not everyone wants to look at things they don’t like. Hopefully in summer we can hold another event for Autumn.”

Olsen stylist Annabel was on hand to help customers with wardrobe decisions, “It’s great for us because I get to come out and meet the customers and find out what they are looking for.”

£2.50 from ticket sales went to the West Berkshire Alzheimer’s Society, Camp Hopson’s chosen charity for 2013. Alzheimer carer Debi Richens said”Camp Hopson voted for us which is really heart warming to know there are people who want to support you because it’s really hard caring for someone with alzheimers.”
